澄理科技有限公司 (a limited company registered in Taiwan; unified business number 62046662), providing the service under the brand 「澄理 TCMLens」 ("we", "us"), provides a search and cross-reference service for classical Chinese medicine literature at tcmlens.com (the "Service"). The Service helps you find classical Chinese medicine texts and related literature using natural language, and presents the source text, its provenance, this platform's own vernacular commentary, related passages, and structured search results.
The Service is subject to this site's Medical Disclaimer, which forms part of these Terms. The Service does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or prescriptions.
Using search features requires signing in (Google/LINE/Microsoft OAuth or an email magic link). You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity on your account. Sharing accounts, abusing the Service with automated scripts, and circumventing usage limits are prohibited.
The Free plan includes a one-time trial allowance (10 questions, until used up, with no refresh). Paid plans come in three tiers — Basic, Plus, and Pro — all of them subscriptions sharing the same core engine. The tiers differ mainly in usage intensity, usage allowance, multi-turn conversation memory depth, and the breadth of passage comparison. The actual price, currency, billing cycle, applicable tax, and any discounts for each plan are those shown on the Service's pricing page and the Paddle checkout page at the time you subscribe. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, a paid subscription renews automatically on the monthly or annual cycle you chose. If prices change in the future, the change applies from your next renewal onward and does not affect a period you have already paid for. Cancellation and refunds are handled under this site's Refund and Cancellation Policy. Payments are processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. Paddle is the legal seller for these transactions and is responsible for payment, invoicing, and the related tax handling, subject to Paddle's buyer terms.
For the public-domain classical texts included in the Service, we claim no copyright in the source text itself. This platform's own vernacular commentary, its search and cross-reference structure, the interface, the code, and the 「澄理」 and "TCMLens" names and branding are rights held by us or by the relevant rightsholders under applicable law. None of the latter may be reproduced, distributed, or otherwise used in a way that infringes those rights without permission.
You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes, reverse-engineer it, scrape it at scale, interfere with its operation, or otherwise abuse it. We may rate-limit, suspend, or disable accounts that violate this.
The Service is provided "as is", without warranty that search results are complete, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. This section does not affect the effect of the Medical Disclaimer.
You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation and refunds are handled under this site's Refund and Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access to your account if you violate these Terms, or where reasonably necessary on security or legal-compliance grounds.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date; where applicable law requires separate notice or consent, we will follow that law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). For disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, if litigation is necessary, the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall be the court of first instance, except where mandatory law or consumer protection legislation provides otherwise. This provision does not exclude any other jurisdiction available to consumers under the law.
